Third parties

(“DVA”), which also includes the General Terms and Conditions for Use of Website (located at (collectively, the “General Terms and Conditions”). By accepting the General Terms and Conditions and by using the Site or the Services (all capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meanings given to them in the General Terms and Conditions), you agree to the uses of your personal information described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time in DVA’s discretion, without notice. Please read the following policy to understand how your information will be treated. We may modify this policy from time to time by posting a revised policy on this Site, so please check back periodically. When this policy is modified, if the modifications are significant, we will display the following next to the link to the policy at the Site: “RECENTLY REVISED”, for a period of thirty (30) days following posting. Information We Collect

Buyers: Registration information about buyers is not displayed in the auction area. If you are the winning bidder in an auction, your contact information may be provided to the seller. Sellers: DVA provides your credit card information to the appropriate credit card company to assess your service fee upon expiration of an auction with a winning bid or a “buy now” purchase, and such information also may be exchanged with other companies for fraud protection and credit risk protection.

DVA Alliances: From time to time, DVA may enter into promotional alliances that introduce users of third-party websites to our services, among other reasons. The companies with whom we enter into such alliances may request that we provide them with information about users who were introduced to through their sites. Unless you specify that DVA is not to share your personal information with these companies, we may provide them with information that will allow them to contact you. DVA is not responsible for the privacy practices of these companies or their use of your personal information. If you prefer that we not share your personal information in this manner, see the “opt out” section below.  For example, DVA may provide your contact and information about your interactions with the Site to Angus Productions, Inc. and its affiliates. 

Promotional Use: DVA is not in the business of selling your information to others. However, unless you specify that you would prefer not to hear from us, we may also use the email and mailing addresses that you provide at registration to advise you of upcoming auctions which may be of interest to you and for promotional reasons. Business Transfers: As we continue to develop our business, we may buy or sell businesses or assets. In such transactions, confidential customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. In the event of a transaction involving the sale of the Site or some or all of DVA’s business, customer and site visitor information may be one of the transferred assets and may become subject to a different privacy policy.

Third Parties: Except as described in this Privacy Policy or as authorized by you, DVA will not disclose any of your contact information to third parties other than in connection with a transaction in which you are involved or upon written request to a verified representative of your company. Links to Third Party Sites: This Site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected online by DVA. This privacy policy does not apply to information collected offline.

Security: Your Account Information is password-protected so you have access to this personal information. We use encryption technology for credit card numbers, bank account numbers, passwords and registration information. Remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window when you have finished your work. This is to ensure that others cannot access your account by using your computer when you are away from it. Protecting Your User Name and Password: It is your responsibility to maintain the privacy of your user name and password. Unauthorized use of your account will enable access to your personal information. Please keep your user name and password in a safe place.

Choice/Opt-out: Our Site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving certain communications from us at the point where we request information about you. Where indicated just click on the appropriate opt-out button when completing a survey or other form. Please allow a reasonable period of time for your changes to take effect.
